  Visited the Atlantis Marcoola Beachfront Resort recently for four glorious nights. We stayed in a studio room. In February, in the middle of a heatwave, the air conditioner and fans kept us cool while we were in our room. Evening and night swims (up to 8.30pm) were lovely too. The pool gate lock is a bit tricky if you first visit it at night, so have a torch (or phone light) handy, most importantly though, remember the pin number! There was a dedicated games room - $2 a game gor pool & air hockey. Plus pinball & car racing machines. A full size tennis court & half size basketball court plus a small playground for the little ones make it the perfect spot for families. The beach is located behind the building and there is a concrete walking path alongside the beach, though I didn't explore this - except to go to the Ramada's back entrance for a wedding a few days after arrival. The check in is quick and friendly- no question too strange or silly to answer. There are a few shops in walking distance across the road including a 7/11 & a Subway. The Pizza/Mediterranean restaurant is highly recommended and not too highly priced. I felt that the Chinese restaurant was overpriced but the food was okay. There are also a few DVD's, games & books you can borrow from the office for your stay.
